Decorative Effect of Lumicca Base

Lumicca Base creates an elegant semi-transparent finish with a delicate luminous appearance. Thanks to its tinting capability, it is ideal for producing tonal effects, washes, glazes, and custom decorative wall finishes. Depending on the application technique, both subtle and more expressive visual effects can be achieved.

Recommended Applications

The product is intended for decorative coatings on:

• Interior walls,
• Facades and exterior surfaces,
• Substrates prepared with Murillo primer paint,
• Lime-based decorative plasters,
• Properly prepared mineral substrates.

Substrate Preparation

The substrate should be:

• Clean, dry, and structurally sound,
• Free from dust, grease, and other contaminants,
• Free from peeling or flaking paint coatings,
• Levelled and repaired where cracks or imperfections occur.

Before application, prime the surface with MFA CLASSIC or MFA PLUS according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Fresh cement-lime plasters can be painted after 3–4 weeks of curing, gypsum plasters after approximately 2 weeks, while gypsum plasterboards can be coated immediately after sanding.
